Why Boston Music Academy Excellence,
and Experience
in Music Education

Our teachers work one on one with each of our students and tailor each lesson to best meet the goals of each individual.

All BMA teachers use proven teaching methods, materials, and positive reinforcement to bring out the most in each student.

We believe in a flexible, approach to music education that blends time honored education methods with a modern approach to education that keeps students engaged in their learning, and excited about music.
Convenience

At The Boston Music Academy we understand that your time is valuable. We all lead very busy lives that can be difficult to schedule with work, school, sports, errands, and a myriad of other things that compete for our time. At The Boston Music Academy we help take one of those things off your plate by bringing your music lessons to you.

Students can learn their instrument in the comfort of their own home on their own instrument. Your teacher will arrive at your scheduled lesson time and save you the drive time to and from the lesson as well as freeing parents up to take care of other tasks during the lesson time itself. Unequaled Teacher
Student Paring

Many schools have a one size fits all approach to placing teachers with students. At many times teachers are hired to teach “families” of instruments. For example a brass teacher may teach: trumpet, trombone, French Horn, and Tuba, while he only plays and performs on trumpet. Or a guitar teacher might teach Guitar and Bass Guitar while only ever performing on Guitar. At The Boston Music Academy this is NEVER the case. We believe students should study their chosen instrument with an instructor that truly has a passion for the SAME instrument, and knows all the intricacies involved in playing that instrument at the highest level.

In addition all of our teachers teach only in styles in which they perform. Music theory, and practice has differences from style to style, and at The Boston Music Academy we make sure to match you with a teacher who not only plays your instrument but understands the styles of music that interest you most.
